JRIC was fantastic. Hands down. Decor was, in my opinion, excellent. Programme was great. It was really quite emotional, especially from the fact that as a non CPSL, we were hardle given real jobs during the camp and this just shows how great it was.

Many interesting, somewhat scandalous things happened later….

Haha, well, I am back. From camp. Infinité – Dream. Drive. Destiny! Secondary 1 Orientation 09.

I don’t think I’ll post much now since I really should be doing my homework (Chinese!). Way too little sleep during camp is helping me in no way here. zzzzz.

Camp was fun but not as strict I would say compared to Hiringa. Sec 1s are really bubbly this year. Had water bombs (thankfully my photographer role became my immunity). Fright Night was a bit sad though. Most of the Sec 1s were like joking rather than screaming. Incidentally, WX and I were screaming our heads off in a bid to shock (and perhaps entertain) them. We were utterly bitchy and quite shameless. Haha.

Got to know this new guy called Richard Neo. Very nice guy. Wonderfully slutty like us. Hoho. Had a great time hanging out with them. Also spent quite some time with the 2 Sams (Chua too). Food was bad honestly.

Well, its camp tomorrow. Haha…photographer. Hopfully I do not need to bring the laptop (and hence busy blocking people now).

Once again, I’ve hardly done the huge pile of Chinese homework awaiting me. Is like, my goodness, why is it so difficult to find articles in Chinese?! argh. Well, then again, Chinese is my lowest subject. I’m currently trying to psycho myself into thinking that it really is do-able by tonight and blithely ignoring the 2 ‘books’ (by my standard) of Chinese too and a Geography essay on world cities. And on top of that, I’m MIA for 6 school days and 2 third lang sessions. (And I ended up reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for an hour?!?! escapism?) Talk about a great start.

Somehow, this reminds me of a scene from the Devil wears Prada (incidentally, i was watching it side by side with Underworld last night) where Emily is going “I love my job…I love my job…I love my job.” ;D

its currently 10.35 pm on my com here. being rather lifeless, i am, yes, at home online. haha

2008 has certainly been different. as this year draws to a close, i feel oddly detached. what will the next year bring? it certainly feels like most of it has already splashed over to the Dec hols. what can i really say about ’08?

honestly, i feel lost. i relish the time when i truly escape, not though sleep nor dream, but more of a different sense of disengagement.

- materialistically: maintain grade; get my ideal laptop; testimonal time
- idealistically: find my motivation; inspiration; mask or unmask myself

i’ve learnt not to trust. i’ve learnt not to see. i want to learn not to feel.

after sitting on it a few days, i’ve finally decided to start a blog (and abandoning the other dead one…)

its really quite alarming how time can fly so ridiculous fast and its only3 days to the start of a new battle. not to mention 3 days to complete what should had two month’s devotion.

today was, i suppose, not a complete waste of time. arrived quite punctually. began with a dance! the song: reach for the stars. thought the chorography was quite nice, quite a ok dance to learn. (: (though i would have gladly had Womanizer or something). had some briefing and tried out a war game that wasn’t as bad as i thought. more talking and checking of watches and before long we were done.

managed to get my hands on a SLR to fiddle with since i became photographer for the camp (and it is clarified that i’m not in PC). had lunch with the usual “sister-bitch” gang and quite a few others. went to some coffeeshop near b. library that had this supposedly “very good” chicken rice with a very long queue. i’ve had better thought each person does have his likings i must say. wx wasn’t feeling too well so i decided to take a bus to H. interchange instead and get some bubble tea. (yay!)

well, i really should be doing my work now, having wasted 2 hr 18 mins on blog surfing and crap. argh. perhaps i would do the emo part of this whole fiasco some other day…
